I have found this and the shortcuts are listed under "Move through your document" but I can't see how to turn these off selectively: clearly, I don't want to turn them all off? I just must be hitting it, or the Alt key at the wrong moment. I have Googled this and I am certainly not alone in having the frustration: but the only answer I can find is that the Ctrl key must be stuck. In the composing email message window, please go to the Insert tab, and then click Symbol > More Symbols. Ctrl + Shift + S will open Apply Styles task pane, and the combinations of Alt + Ctrl + 1, 2 or 3 will apply the Heading style to a paragraph. Press Ctrl + 1 to set single-line spacing, Ctrl + 2 to set double-space lines, Ctrl + 5 to set 1.5-line spacing. The frustration is that as I type I suddenly find that some window has opened up or my cursor has shot to some other part of the page and the last sentence has come out in a different paragraph.
